Responsible for coordinating all of the company’s design efforts. Supervises the activities of the employees engaged in ensuring that all components, parts and specifications of products comply with client requirements prior to production.
Ensures product specifications are within parameters of cost, functionality and reliability. Where possible, shall drive design efforts in developing new products.
Monitors and controls the progress of engineering project to design, cost estimates, and quotations. Ensures accuracy, completion of schedules and commitments, and continuous follow-up.
Coordinates and works with management on the preparation and negotiation of contracts, quotes, and shop orders. Examines and evaluates inquiries for completion of accept or decline data.
Plans and schedules objectives to meet established goals, reviewing and establishing priorities to meet or exceed desired result.
 Reviews and submits annual operating and salary budgets along with established and required operating documents and/or reports.
Minimizes production delays and maximizes manpower utilization through consulting with customers in planning and organizing for new projects.
Represents the company and engineering function in inter-company conferences, technical forms, and external discussions groups.
